Blower - Centrifugal blower to force the air, driven by single phase Electric motor

Orifice with water manometer to measure the air flow. Orifice dia - 14 mm.

Measuring cylinder - 1 lit. to measure water flow.

Valves for flow control and change of air flow direction.

Digital temperature indicator to measure the temperatures of hot and cold Water

Determination of overall heat transfer co efficient for a tube –in–tube type heat transfer. To calculate

i) Rate of heat transfer

ii) Theoretical over all heat transferco efficient

To compare the performance of Parallel flow & Counter flow heat exchanger.
